Terms of Service — A1 Number Plates UK Ltd

These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from A1 Number Plates UK Ltd through our website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Number Plate Orders

Our number plates are manufactured to order according to the registration number, size, style and options selected by the customer.

Customers are responsible for checking all information entered when placing an order, including the registration number, plate size, spacing, border, flag and plate style.

Once manufacture has begun, personalised orders cannot normally be changed or cancelled.

2. Road-Legal Number Plates

Where a product is advertised and sold as a road-legal UK registration plate, it will be manufactured in accordance with the applicable UK requirements.

Before we manufacture road-legal registration plates, customers must provide the documentation required by law to prove their identity and entitlement to use the registration number.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if the required documentation is not supplied or cannot be satisfactorily verified.

3. Show Plates

Products specifically described as Show Plates, Custom Plates or NOT FOR ROAD USE are supplied for display, show, private-land or other non-road purposes.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that any plate fitted to a vehicle used on a public road complies with applicable UK law.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on our website are the prices payable at the time the order is placed, together with any applicable delivery charge shown at checkout.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order is manufactured or dispatched.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, description or technical errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer before proceeding where appropriate.

5. Manufacturing and Appearance

Our products are made to order. Minor variations may occur as part of the manufacturing process.

Product photographs and previews are provided to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible. Screen colours and digital previews may differ slightly from the finished physical product.

6. Delivery

Estimated manufacturing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is subject to the carrier's service.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when ordering.

7. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products

Customers should contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrectly manufactured or does not match the order placed.

We may request photographs and/or require the product to be returned so that the issue can be assessed.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

8. Personalised Goods and Cancellations

Because number plates are manufactured to the customer's individual specification, personalised products generally cannot be returned or cancelled simply because the customer changes their mind once manufacture has begun.

This does not affect the customer's statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

9. Incorrect Customer Information

We manufacture plates using the information submitted with the order.

If a registration number, plate size, style or other personalised option has been entered incorrectly by the customer and we have manufactured the product according to those instructions, we are not responsible for the cost of producing a replacement.

Customers should therefore carefully check their order before completing checkout.
